1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, including:

• Account details — name, email address, password (stored as a hash, never in plain text), and optionally company name and phone number.
• Design request content — page type, style preferences, briefs, deadlines, messages, and any files you upload.
• Payment metadata — Stripe shares limited information with us (such as payment status, amount, and subscription status) needed to run your account; your full card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.

We also automatically collect limited technical data, like log and usage information, to keep the service secure and working correctly.

2. How we use information

• To create and manage your account and deliver the design services you request.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions through Stripe.
• To send account-related emails, such as password resets and updates on your design requests.
• To maintain the security and reliability of the service.

We don’t sell your personal information.

3. How we share information

We share information only where necessary to run the service:

• Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Resend, to deliver transactional emails (like password resets), when email delivery is enabled.

We don’t share your information with other third parties except where required by law, to protect our rights, or with your consent.

4. Data retention

We keep account and design-request data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward in case you return or as needed for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time — see “Your rights” below.

5. Your rights and choices

You can review and update most of your account information directly from your dashboard settings. To request a copy of your data, or to request that we delete your account and associated data, email hello@webwryte.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, subject to any records we’re required to keep by law.

6. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use a single, essential cookie to keep you signed in securely. It doesn’t track you across other sites, and we don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Children’s privacy

Webwryte is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through the dashboard.
